Restorative Practices Toolkit
The NewRoot Restorative Practice Toolkit provides resources to guide the development of essential social and emotional learning (SEL) skills, helping students build self-awareness and recognize the impact of their actions on others. This toolkit creates opportunities for healing and restoring relationships, individuals, and communities affected by these actions. The toolkit's resources are versatile and can be used effectively in disciplinary interventions, classrooms, social skills groups, or one-on-one settings.
Check Yourself Tool
This tool encourages self-awareness in both the micro (day-to-day) and macro (larger, more consistent) ways we show up in our interpersonal interactions, guiding users to engage with intentionality, check their individual biases, build authentic relationships, and reduce unintentional harm.
