Education

New Root seeks to further its purpose of improving general education by granting funds and materials to public schools in the areas in which the conservation projects funded by New Root are carried out. We fund proposals that include aim to provide textbooks, workbooks, notebooks, and writing materials to meet student needs. We also make grants to improve technology in schools including computers and projectors. In addition, and on a case by case basis, our grants support construction or repair of school facilities including libraries, classrooms, and vocational spaces.
